Welcome to Shawnee Winery
It all starts here - in the vineyard!
Bins of freshly harvested grapes are placed in coolers until ready for crush
Grapes are pressed
for juice and then pumped to stainless steel tanks
Fresh grapes are crushed and destemmed
The finished product
Wonderful Illinois Wines!
How we do it - start to finish!
With the pressed juice safely in tanks, it's time for cleanup.
After crush & destemming, the juice is pumped to the press.
After the juice is processed, yeast is added and fermentation is begun.
